I really want a new hair style but my hair is super curly! I want it to be cute and fun, but the only thing I can do is have it plain and no layers, because it would get poofy. I wish it was straight, but I don't know what to do with it other than leave it down every day :-(

You can straighten you hair for a while and see how you like it. Don't cut your hair yet until yo are certain that you will like it to be like straight all the time. If you're cetain you can always perm it.

you have lovely hair I paid big bucks to have hair like that, go to a salon and check out the style books

omg i love your curls!!! but i understand you coud get it professinally straightend at the solon that would look so cute!!!

OOH! Youre hair is so pretty!!! I wish my hair was like yours. If you really dont like it(curly) then you can go to the store like walmart and get this chemical straigtning stuff (it comes in a box like hair dye) and you just do it at home, it works great.

i would kill for those curls my hair is so flat and dull!!!

Wow! your hair is so nice. Are you mixed, I'm full blaque (but light skinned) and I have pretty strait hair for a girl of Jamaican decent, but man your hair is NICE.
If you want it strait, get it done at the hair dressers, they'll straiten it and it should be nice. You can keep it in a loose pony tail, or clip the top half of your hair up while leaving the rest down. But whatever you do, don't perm it, perming hair for black people doesn't work out unless you have a real professional (who charges like 100 dollars for one perm!!!), if you get someone cheap, they may not do it right and your hair will break.

ilove your hair.
um, try a bun and let some pieces fall to frame your face (:
New Hair style? (pics)?
OMGOSH! i absolutly love your hair.
why dont you try a half up pony or a messy bun.
another suggestion would be to get side bangs and straighten them.
and again... I LOVE YOUR HAIR! %26lt;33

hey hun get a chi :) it works wonders and can tame the toughest curls. it's alittle expensive like 125-150 but maybe for you birthday or something? that way you can wear your hair in those PRETTY curls or straighten them :)
GOOD LUCKXOXO

Long hair looks great with your curls. You obviously can't make it long now but growing it long can be a goal. If you have a straightener go for side bangs(you can straighten them in the morning, it doesn't take too long if your only doing your bangs) The bangs will soften your definite jaw and make your forehead appear smaller.
As for updos try some french twists. You can also clip back the front portions like mary kate(I love this hairstyle)

I have a lot of curly hair too. I have had it all lengths over the years and have straightened my hair too. Putting layers doesnt necessarily make it get poofy, it depends on the style you cut your hair in. Are you wanting to keep your hair long or are you possibly thinking about cutting it shorter? I found a few styles that may look good on you but you would have to actually style it daily, especially as it grows out. My daughter doesnt agree with me for the first one but she said to say the second would look good with your face structure.
