I need new hair!!?

I really want to get a new hair style but my parents want it the same. They want me to also keep it down at my elbows. Any ideas on new looks? Color changes or anything for a girl with dirty blonde hair.

Hate to say it, but if you really want to cut it, cut it. Just don't go too short. It will feel wierd after having long hair for such a long time. My parents made me keep my hair long (down past my butt!) and I finally just went and cut it one day just below the shoulders. Most they can do is ground you. My parents got over it (12 yrs ago...)

and dye parts of it brown

get a 'V' shape haircut. It will stay the same lenght but it in a V in the back. You can also get red highlights
