Hehe...get an emo looking cut but dont wear your bangs in your face, cut them into side bangs. It looks super cute...then die your bottom layer a different color than the top layer and its ADORABLE!!!

i have the same problem...my hair is super straight and thin. MY hairstylist suggested side swept bangs and layers. I love it and it makes every hairstyle have that extra touch. Best of luck!!!
